Best Biceps Curl Hand Position: EZ Bar or Straight Barbell ??
Best Biceps Curl Hand Position:
Lets take this principle to the gym, by watching Joe Six-Pack do a popular exercise, a curl with an EZ-curl bar. Instead of his palms facing straight up, they are now facing slightly inward making it a little easier on the wrists, but also a little easier on the biceps. With an EZ-curl bar, the biceps are never fully contracted and, in Joes case, the shape of the bar also forces his hands to be a little too far apart.
If you really want to fully contract your biceps during curls, which you should, youre probably better off going with a straight bar instead. Youll be able to position your hands in line with your elbows and shoulders and also assure that your biceps muscles are fully contracted, because your hands are fully supinated, or palms up, throughout the entire movement.

Home ab workout: crunch exercise for 6-pack abs
Don't let the TV ads convince you to buy some bulky contraption that will gather dust in your closet, crunches are safe and effective! This video clip shows how to do crunches with varying degrees of difficulty based on your ability. Remember that ab exercises alone will not give you abs! If you have the best abs in the world they will be completely invisible if you are overweight. Aerobic exercise and proper diet are even more important than ab exercises in getting that sought after 6-pack.
Form is very important in crunches, many people do them incorrectly and end up working out their neck or hips more than their abs. Use slow movements and only use the abs. Concentrate on trying to raise your shoulders straight up towards the ceiling. Don't worry about how many reps you do but focus on using perfect form. No whipping the head around or flapping your arms! This is not a sit-up either, the hips are stationary. Also important is to minimize any tension in the neck, I do this by very lightly supporting my head with my hands or the weight plate
The main reason to workout abs is because strong abs stabilize your lower back and shield you from injury but as a side benefit a 6-pack looks great!

Crazy Workout Nut: One-Handed Exercise
"Did you know that you almost never have to do anything special to focus on the weaker side of your body? Training consistently with isolateral, unilateral, independent-motion machine and free weight exercises forces your non-dominant and less-coordinated movement patterns to recruit more relative motor units to do the same amount of work, because of neurological inefficiencies, which often results in slightly bigger and stronger non-dominant musculature. Basically, weaker works harder to do the same amount of work.
So, unless your goal is two-sets of 90lb lopsided chesticles, do yourself a favor... and don't train like Joe Six-Pack!!!"

Home Cardio Workout -- Better Than P90X
Shocking shortcut to abs:
In this video, I show a great home cardio workout that I've been doing lately. This workout is great for losing fat and building a ripped beach body. It's many times more effective than long, slow cardio workouts like treadmill jogging -- and it only takes three minutes! It's definitely one of the best cardio workouts at home that I know of.
Best of all, this home cardio workout can be done with NO EQUIPMENT, and no gym membership needed. It's extremely simple -- you just have to learn three basic bodyweight exercises to do it.
Here's how to do this home cardio workout:
Squat thrust -- 10 reps
Mountain Climber -- 10 reps (counting 1-2-3-ONE-1-2-3-TWO)
Squat Jump -- 10 reps
Repeat these exercises until you have done 100 reps total. You will end up doing 40 squat thrusts, 30 mountain climbers, and 30 squat jumps total.
Credit for inventing this home cardio workout goes to DAVE GINSBERG, Dan's jiu-jitsu coach in Boston. If you're in the Boston area Dave is a top notch Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, and highly recommended for martial arts instruction. He's also a great personal trainer and has many more great workouts like this which are very effective, and can be done with minimal equipment.
